Chelsea are set to make a move for Anderlecht youngster Sefa Isci according to the player’s agent. The highly-rated 18-year old is also wanted by Benfica but Blues boss Jose Mourinho apparently plans to sign him up and then send him out on loan to gain first-team experience.

Isci’s agent, Saffet Balkan, is the one making these claims. He said: “Benfica and Chelsea are interested in Sefa Isci. Chelsea want Isci to loan to their partner club Vitesse. Benfica made an enquiry for Sefa after his performances against them in the Youth Champions League.

“Benfica were impressed with Sefa’s performances in the Youth Champions League and the Viareggio Cup.”

It appears then that both Benfica and Chelsea will go head-to-head to sign the promising young player this summer.
