Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing Porto striker Moussa Marega.

Marega, 26, has already scored 14 goals from 16 appearances this season for Porto in the Portuguese top flight.

Porto signed Marega in 2016 and subsequently sent him out on loan to Vitoria Sport Clube where he scored 14 goals in the 2016/17 season. And Given his fine form, Porto recalled him for the 2017/18 season and has excelled.

And French outlet Foot Mercato report that the two Premier League giants have taken note of the Mali attacking player. They also report that the two clubs want to sign him in the January transfer window.

Chelsea are in dire need for a striker to provide competition for first team attacker Alvaro Morata. Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi has failed to impress head coach Antonio Conte and it’s understood the Italian manager is eager to sign a new striker.

While Manchester United have had injury problems with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku has struggled for goals lately since his blistering start to the season earlier on.

However, the Mali international won’t come cheap though as he has a ÂŁ36m (€40m) buyout clause in his contract which runs until 2020.
