The Premier League has fined Chelsea and West Brom for not being able to control their players.

The match ended 2-2 during the week.

A stray tackle of Claudio Yacob on Diego Costa sparked a mass debate towards the referee during Tuesday night’s game. Both sets of players clashed after the referee decided not to award a red card on a tackle on Costa. The game itself seen numerous bookings as both teams fiercely contested the points at stake.

The Argentine was already booked when he committed to the tackle after pulling Willian’s shirt earlier in the game. Guus Hiddink thought the player was lucky to stay on field when speaking in the press conference games after the game.

Both teams have until January 20th to respond to the charges brought forward.
