According to former Chelsea first team coach Ray Wilkins, John Terry could potentially make a move to Manchester United.
That’s if he fails to win his first team place back at Stamford Bridge.
The veteran Chelsea skipper penned a one-year extension in the summer following much speculation that his Blues career was set for a new chapter.
However, even though he signed a new contract, Terry has been struggling to retain his place in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up since tearing his ankle ligament he suffered against Swansea back in mid-September.
The former England skipper has attracted interest from several Chinese Super League clubs but Wilkins believes the 35-year-old is far more likely to be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
‘I couldn’t agree more (that Terry will snub China move),” Wilkins said on talkSPORT. ‘I don’t think China will be on John’s radar.
‘What about Old Trafford? He’s not playing for Chelsea but I think he still has plenty to offer.
‘There will be someone out there who would love to have him.’
