Blues are considered favourites to land Barcelona star
Chelsea are new favourites to sign FC Barcelona winger Pedro, according to reports.
The Spaniard is expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer, despite penning a new long-term contract at the club earlier this season.
Pedro‘s game-time is already limited with the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi, but after the club sealed a deal for Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid, it’s likely that he will drop further down the pecking order under Luis Enrique.
Premier League Interest
To make things more interesting regarding his future, the Catalan giants have agreed to drop his release clause from £107million, to just £22m alerting Premier League clubs.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with a move for the winger, but it’s believed Chelsea are favourites after agreeing to offer him a four-year deal.
The 27-year-old has been advised by Luis Suarez to snub a move to England, but with regular football wanted, it could be Pedro’s only option, and after speaking to Cesc Fabregas about life at Stamford Bridge, a move to Chelsea could be the likely destination.
