Blues are in talks with Uruguayan

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, and have already got a contract put aside for him.

The Blues were beaten by the Uruguayan’s side on Tuesday in the Champions League as a Cavani goal gave PSG the 2-1 win in the first-leg, but according to reports, he could make a switch over the summer.

Chelsea are set to have an uncertain summer, with a new manager set to come in and also several players set to depart, but according to reports, officials want to sign Cavani from PSG no matter who is in charge.

Striker on the Move?

Cavani has been unhappy in Paris in recent months, and he could be ready to complete a transfer away from the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season, with his father already tipping him to leave the club.

Cavani was used as a winger during his first season, which lead to him falling out with Laurent Blanc. However, he’s been used more centrally this campaign, but has also spent a fair bit of time on the bench as well.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic expected to leave, Chelsea may face an uphill task trying to convince PSG to sell Cavani, but according to reports they are in talks with him and have set aside a contract for him.

It’s claimed the contract is already planned with the duration and the salary.
