No homecoming on the cards yet!
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is set to continue with his playing career despite recently quitting New York City FC.
The former Blues star revealed on Monday that he would be leaving the MLS side, his details about his next plans would be announced ‘very soon’.
Chelsea’s staff and fans would welcome Lampard back with open arms, in a coaching, ambassadorial or mentoring role.
However, it appears that Lampard has already had offers to keep playing, from two other MLS sides, thought to be Orlando City and La Galaxy.
Galaxy are looking to replace ex-Liverpool star Steven Gerrard, who announced his departure from the west-coast side this week also.
It’s thought a couple of European clubs are also keen on handing him a contract.
Lampard is also considering earning his badges and going into coaching.
