Chelsea look ready and willing to activate the buy-out clause of Fiorentina wing back Juan Cuadrado with a £26.8million pound bid.

It was reported that the player was a target for Chelsea over the summer transfer window which even went as far as holding talks between the potential switch before negotiations broke down.

After the deal fell through Juan Cuadrado signed a new 5 year contract with Fiorentina but this contract does contain a buy-out clause which Mourinho looks set to activate.

Reports it Italy claim that talks have already begun between the two clubs and it seems it’s only a matter of time before the player is wearing the blue of Chelsea.
