Reports in Spain claim Chelsea offered winger on loan
FC Barcelona have rejected the chance to re-sign Pedro on a short-term loan deal, according to reports.
The Spanish winger left the Nou Camp over the summer after agreeing to join Premier League champions Chelsea, but just six months after arriving in England, he’s already been offered back to the La Liga outfit.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Luis Enrique has turned down the chance to take Pedro on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season, leaving the winger stranded at Chelsea.
Pedro Struggles
The Blues coughed up ÂŁ19million for the 28-year-old over the summer, but due to a lack of game-time and also a couple of injuries, Pedro has failed to impress in England.
During his 24 appearances for Chelsea, Pedro has scored just three goals and has overall struggled to contribute to the side.
However, a return to Spain has been ruled out with his former-employers not keen on a reunion.
