Midfielder finally ready to end Bernabeu misery

Real Madrid star Isco is ready to leave the Bernabeu after spending most of this season on the substitute bench once again.

The play-maker joined Madrid from La Liga rivals Malaga, but due to some serious competition in the attacking places, his first-team football has been limited over the years.

In a recent interview, Isco admitted that he’s accepted he will never be first-choice when it comes to the number-10 role, and it’s reported that he’s now ready to leave the club altogether.

The news will come as a big boost to Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as Serie A side Juventus, who have also shown interest in the Spaniard.

Arsenal were also once interested in the play-maker, as were Liverpool, but it’s believed those two have since cooled their interest.

With Rafa Benitez sacked yesterday and Zinedine Zidane taking over, plenty of changes are expected to take place over the next few weeks.
