Chelsea look to have completed a deal for highly rated French midfielder Rayan Souici by beating off the challenge of rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
The French u-16 international is currently on the books of Ligue 1 side St Etienne, with Jose Mourinho offering the youngster a three year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal and Liverpool had also been interested in a move for Souici but Chelsea already have a good working relationship with the French side having acquired defender Kurt Zouma from them last season.
This looks to have worked in their favour as Souici is expected to be announced officially in the coming weeks, securing the Blues a prospect who has been dubbed as the ‘new Paul Pogba.’
