Chelsea are currently working on a surprise £12m bid for Sandro. The Blues are on the lookout for another midfielder to compete with Nemanja Matic and the Tottenham man has emerged as a shock target.
According to reports coming from the midfielder’s hometown of Brazil, Jose Mourinho will offer Spurs a £12m take it or leave it offer in a bid to lure the 25-year old across London. Tottenham are reluctant to sell though, with the player loved by the club and the fans, but he may be interested in a move away.
Napoli have previously failed with an £8m bid, while Monaco and Roma are also believed to be keen on Sandro. Chelsea do however have a back-up plan if a move for the Spurs man can’t be agreed, with Jose Mourinho also prepared to try and sign Tiago.
