Blues preparing mega-bid for Winter window

Chelsea have not given up in the race to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba, and they will be preparing another mega-bid for the January window despite their efforts falling short over the summer.

According to reports, The Blues had a formal bid ACCEPTED by the Serie A champions, but were let down when Pogba rejected personal terms with the Premier League giants.

Contract Rejected

Chelsea reportedly offered a contract worth ÂŁ8.5m-a-year, but the Frenchman snubbed the move and confirmed his intentions were to stay put with Juve.

This lead to speculation that the midfielder is only eyeing a move to FC Barcelona once their embargo has been lifted, and that could see him complete a move to the Nou Camp in January.

However, Jose Mourinho is not prepared to give up and he will make another formal offer for the 22-year-old in the winter window.
