Blues ready to make their move
Chelsea are ready to make their move to lure Diego Simeone to Stamford Bridge should Jose Mourinho lose his job.
After their latest defeat in the Premier League, which makes it seven out of 12 now, Chelsea are in a real crisis, and sitting 16th in the table means it’s the worst defence of the Premier League in it’s history.
Mourinho‘s job is on the line and with Roman Abramovich known for being sack-happy, it’s reported that it could be just days away.
Abramovich has sacked the Portuguese once before, and although this time around it’s even worse, the Russian has resisted the sack so far because of the fans still backing Mourinho.
Time for a Change?
However, the Chelsea owner is getting fed up with the results and also with Mourinho’s behaviour after he recently had to serve a stadium ban.
Reports emerged yesterday claiming Simeone was ready to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, and if that’s the case, Abramovich wants to make his move on the Argentine.
It’s reported that Simeone is top of Abramovich’s candidate list and he’s already working behind the scenes on making a deal possible.
