According to reports John Terry is demanding a £100,000-a-week deal after ending his 22-year campaign at Chelsea
The former Chelsea and England captain made an astonishing 717 appearances for the Blues.
However, Terry is now available on a free transfer, but apparently he has told newly promoted Brighton that he would only be interested in a move involving a massive six-figure weekly wage packet.
According to the London Evening Standard, Brighton have now withdrawn the offer
The 36-year-old was apparently earning £50,000-a-week in his final season in London.
Terry has also hinted he could retire from football while there is also the possibility of a lucrative move to the Middle East, China or America if the defender does not find a suitable move in the Premier League or Europe.
