Chelsea target ‘My heart beats for Arsenal’

Antonio Rudiger is reportedly set to sign for Chelsea this week in a ÂŁ34 million deal from Roma.

If reports are true, The German international will be the second signing of the summer for the Stamford Bridge outfit, following the signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero – who joined the Blues on a free transfer.

Rudiger has spent the past two years over in the Italian capital, having originally moved from Stuttgart in 2015.

The 24-year-old who has a desire to play in the Premier League, will have his dream come true.

However, in what might come as a bit of a shock to Chelsea fans, he has openly admitted his love for one of the Blues’ bitter rivals in the past.

“I have been following Arsenal since the days of Henry and Bergkamp,” he said.

“I have always dreamed of the Premier League. I watch videos of Arsenal all the time on YouTube and I often wear the current Alexis Sanchez shirt.

“My heart beats for Arsenal.”
