According to reports, Chelsea Football Club are looking into signing left-back Ben Davies from rivals Tottenham Hotspur
The former Swansea City star has found himself competing for a spot with Danny Rose starting at White Hart Lane, However, It is Rose that usually gets the go ahead to play more that Davies.
Davies is active in the first team currently due to an injury to Rose.
Reports indicate that the Blues are in the market for home-grown players to make sure they do not fall foul of Premier League rules.
Now with Cesar Azpilicueta playing out of his normal position at left-back, Conte is looking for a player more suited to the role.
Marcos Alonso was snatched up on deadline day, However, if Azpilicueta is to move back to the right, Davies could be solid competition for the new player on the left.
