Chelsea to make £20m offer for right-back
Chelsea are preparing a £20million bid in the summer transfer window for Everton right-back Seamus Coleman.
The 26-year-old’s contract is only due to expire at Goodison Park in 2019, but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is ready to make a big money swoop for the Republic of Ireland international.
The former Sligo Rovers defender has nearly made 150 appearances for The Toffees since his arrival from the Rovers in 2009 for just £60,000.
Premier League Interest
Everton are open to offers for Coleman, who is attracting a lot of interest from various Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Manchester City as well as Chelsea.
Potential Coleman Replacement
The Toffees are monitoring Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya to replace Coleman in the summer transfer window but face tough competition to sign the defender as Liverpool and Arsenal have shown interest in the 24-year-old.
