Chelsea will offer Fernando Torres to AC Milan for free if the Italian side decide to terminate his two-year loan deal.
The Spaniard ended his tough-career at Stamford Bridge by agreeing a loan-deal at the San Siro, but just months into a two-year deal, Milan are ready to cancel the deal and send the striker back to Stamford Bridge.
Despite saying he’s happy in Italy and happy to be working under a manager who used to be a successful player, Torres could be sent packing by Filippo Inzaghi after just a few months after failing to impress in Serie A.
If Milan do in fact terminate the loan-deal, Chelsea will then respond by offering him to the Italian side for free.
The Blues do not want the striker on their wage-bill and after signing three strikers in the Summer, they are not in need for another one.
The 30-year-old has netted once in Italy and is still sitting on a £3.1m-a-year contract, and Milan don’t think they are getting their money’s worth.
