Chelsea have been told by Shakhtar Donetsk that it would take a £30million bid in order to sign attacker, Douglas Costa.
The Brazilian international is on The Blues’ radar and is seen as a back-up option if they fail to sign Fiorentina star, Juan Cuadrado.
However, Jose Mourinho has now been alerted by the Ukraine outfit that it would take a £30m offer for them to accept.
According to reports, Chelsea are prepared to pay around £20m for the attacker, which is £10m less than Shakhtar’s asking price.
Chelsea are keen on signing a new attack-minded player with Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah both favourites to leave the club.
