Chelsea unchallenged to sign Benfica striker Talisca

Chelsea are closing in on a £35 million January move for Benfica’s Anderson Talisca, with Blues represenatives watching his every move.

Stamford Bridge scouts are in attendance at every Benfica match, partly to scare off other clubs eyeing up the Brazilian.

Jose Mourinho wants another quality striker added to his squad, and Talisca is high up on his list of targets.

Chelsea are willing to pay the £35 million to trigger Talisca’s release clause.

However the possibility remains of the Portuguese club selling the player at a lower price.

Marseille have been linked with Talisca, but Portuguese publication O Jogo reports that French scouts have not been watching recent matches, leaving the way clear for Chelsea to get their man.
