Manchester City are set to announce the signing of Porto defensive midfielder Fernando for a reported £15 million pounds.
Portugese newspaper Diario de Noticias claims that the midfielder will travel to Manchester to put pen to paper on a move in the coming days.
Manchester City failed to sign Fernando in January as a fee could not be agreed but the club have come back this time with an improved offer that has been accepted.
