Arsenal are in talks to bring Cesc Fabregas back to the club for £29.2m, according to various reports. Barcelona-based paper Sport claims that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has spoken to Darren Dein, a representative of the midfielder, to begin negotiations over a return to London for the former captain.
Arsenal are believed to have the right to buy back the 27-year old for £29.2m, which is £800,000 more than what the Catalan giants paid for him three years ago. Despite this offer and despite the fact it would mean he could link up with his former boss and teammates, he is keen to wait and discover his role under new manager Luis Enrique before deciding over his future.
It isn’t just Arsenal chasing the Spaniard’s signature though, with Liverpool, Man United, Man City and Zenit St Petersburg all interested in making bids. However, if he was to leave Barca, it is believed he would prefer a return to the Emirates.
