Manchester City are planning moves for England midfielders Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere.
With the current Premier League Champions willing to add more English talent to their squad, both midfielders have emerged as priority signings for the club in the next window.
Henderson, who is enjoying a successful season at Anfield, is currently in the dark over his future with Liverpool after doubts over a contract renewal.
And with Wilshere, still plagued by injuries, with only two years remaning on his current Arsenal contract could be one name that could be heading out the door at the Emirates.
It is understood that City are prepared to table bids up to £30 million for each player, in an attempt to persuade Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool to sell.
