What a season it’s been for Chelsea in the Premier League and there has been some stand out players for the Blues.
N’Golo Kante is unquestionably one of those players, taking PFA player of the year for this season.
One former Chelsea legend Claude Makelele has been watching N’Golo Kante and is impressed with what he’s seen.
Taking to the Daily Mail, Makelele said: “This season he did not play in the Champions League. Every four days there will be games. With the national team there will be games. There will be a lot of games. He needs to get that experience,’ he said.
Makelele was also certain that if Kante keeps at this level, he might be able to outperform him later on in his career.
“When he is at that level, he will not run 90 minutes all the time. He will need to listen to the rhythm, the way he plays. This will be key for him. I hope this will be the situation. I hope he does better than I did in my career,” he added.
