Antonio Conte has urged Roman Abramovich to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer, according to reports.
The ex-Juventus manager is likely to take the hotseat at Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign and he is believed to be desperate to have Romelu Lukaku joining him at the Blues for next season.
The Belgium international has been in tremendous form this year and seems to be getting better and better for Everton. He’s caught the attention of several top European clubs, including Man United, and now Chelsea are eager to sign him.
Conte planning overhaul of Chelsea
Conte – if he does end up at Chelsea – wants Lukaku to be the spearhead of a new look Blues side that he looks set to be creating in summer and he has urged Roman Abramovich to get his wallet out and spend whatever it takes to land him.
Reports claim that if Antonio Conte does come in, then he will overhaul the Chelsea squad massively in a bid to get them back up to the top end of the Premier League and fighting for the title again.
Will the Stamford Bridge side end up with his signature or will Man United sign him first? Or, could the forward pledge his allegiance to Everton and stay on at Goodison park?
