The Portugal International left Real Madrid after a very successful period with them

Cristiano Ronaldo completed a reported €112 million move from Real Madrid to Juventus last month, signing a 4 year deal. He will pocket around €30 million per season.

The Portugal International ended a successful 9 year spell with the Spanish side after joining them from Manchester United for a world record transfer fee at the time of £80 million. He has been the Spanish side’s main man since then, scoring 450 in 431 games and left as their top goal scorer.

He won LaLiga twice, two Copa del Reys and has also helped the club to four Champions League trophies, along with the FIFA Club World Cup three times and the UEFA Super Cup twice.

The Portuguese winger’s future was in doubt since the Champions League final against Liverpool back in May. He spoke about the club in the past tense after that game when he said: “We will talk in the future. It’s been really beautiful to play for Real Madrid. I’ll give a response in the coming days.”

The 33 year couldn’t take part in the Italian side’s pre-matches but started in the club’s opener against Chievo, which they won 3-2. Despite not being able to get on the scoresheet but he proved he’s still a top draw and could a very important role this season for the Serie A champions.

Ronaldo has revealed that the reception Juventus fans gave him after his remarkable overhead kick goal against them last season in the Champions League helped sway him to join the Serie A side. The fans stood up and applauded his effort.

“The small details make the big difference at the end of the day so … I would say what I saw in the stadium helped [the transfer],” Ronaldo said, as quoted by Goal, on his unveiling as DAZN’s first Global Ambassador.

“Not 100 per cent of course but some parts make you think.

“[It] was in my opinion one of the best goals of my career so far,” He added.

“And, of course, when the people start to applaud me in the stadium I was like, ‘wow’.

“[It] surprised me a lot because this has never happened in my life, so [it] was [an] unbelievable moment.”
