Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo has told Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, they will have to offer him a lucrative contract worth £500k-a-week if they want to sign him next Summer.

It was reported earlier that the Portuguese international was finally ready to call time on his career in Spain after reportedly falling out with officials at the club after they chose to sell Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso, to Manchester United and Bayern Munich respectively.

However, with the three Premier League teams interested in signing the 29-year-old, they have now been told that it would take a deal worth half-a-million a week for him to return to England.

It’s believed that Chelsea and United are setting aside £60million to sign the winger, but they will now have to be prepared to make him their highest earner and football’s highest ever paid player at a whopping £500k-a-week.

If United were to sign Ronaldo and give him that contract, they would then have to give Wayne Rooney the same weekly fee as he has a clause in his contract that states he will match the club’s highest earner.
