Dani Alves hasn’t agreed to join Manchester United

According to Spanish reporter, Guillem Balague, FC Barcelona defender, Dani Alves, HAS NOT agreed to join Manchester United next Summer.

Reports broke during the week that the Brazilian had already agreed a deal in principle to join the Premier League side next year once his deal expired at the Nou Camp, but those reports have been dismissed by Balague, who has claimed they are false reports.

A FIFA agent was the person who claimed the deal was in place to take Alves to United after agreeing to leave Barca, but it now appears that the Spanish club are working on a new deal for the wing-back.

Balague took to Twitter to confirm the news about Alves, tweeting the following: “Alves has NOT signed for United. He’s negotiating a new contract with FCB. Main sticking point: club wants wages reduced. So his future not decided yet.”

Despite admitting the club want to reduce their wage bill, Balague believes Alves is not a guaranteed leaver next Summer.
