Tonight’s game between Manchester United and Real Sociedad resulted in a 1-0 win for the Manchester side. Kagawa’s performance in the game really impressed manager Moyes. The Japanese player was involved in most of the Red Devils chances and he missed a golden chance himself. He was also voted as the fans Man of the Match. This is only the fourth start for him this season and after the good performance he could retain a spot for the saturday clash with Stoke City.
David Moyes said: “I thought it was Shinji’s best game in my time here”.
“He hadn’t really found his feet yet but I saw something from Shinji tonight which I hadn’t seen in other games, so I was really pleased”.
“His effort when we didn’t have the ball was fantastic. With Shinji, everybody tells me about his ability and what he has got, but tonight is the first time I’ve really seen Shinji”.
