Manchester United may face losing goalkeeper David De Gea if they do not qualify for the Champions League next season.
De Gea is wanted by Spanish side, and reigning European Cup holders Real Madrid.
The Bernabeu club have seen the 23-year-old for some time as the natural successor to club legend Iker Casillas.
De Gea initially struggled at Old Trafford when he first arrived, but this season so far, he has shone in an otherwise leaky and injury-hit United side.
Reports in Spain indicate United may struggle to hold on to De Gea beyond this season.
And with Casillas struggling for form, United may face having to find a replacement for the Spaniard.
