Jermain Defoe has arrived in England to seal a deal to return to the Premier League, with Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal both keen, reports the Metro.
Defoe, aged 30 only signed for Canadian side Toronto in February, however they are set to consider selling him at around £6.6 million.
Harry Redknapp is keen to reunite with the London born striker, who he worked with at Tottenham and West Ham United, and is set to lodge a bid for the player in the coming hours.
However, QPR could face competition from Arsenal, with Wenger desperate to sign a striker before the 11 pm deadline.
