Paris Saint-Germain is inching closer to a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma.
AC Milan have failed to convince the shot-stopper into extending his contract as it expires this month.
Now, one of Europe’s biggest giants is about to snap him for free. Of course, Donnarumma will be rewarded very well with a €12m a year contract running across five seasons. He was being pursued by a host of outfits but PSG were the only ones who could offer him such a lucrative deal.

Donnarumma’s prodigious story started when broke into the Milan squad at 16 years of age. The goalkeeper progressed fast through the ranks for both club and country and is now viewed as one of the world’s very best. PSG want to replay Keylor Navas with Donnarumma in the long run.
Navas, 34, has performed brilliantly since making the switch from Real Madrid in 2019. And according to Romain Molina, not everyone was in favour of Donnarumma’s move. Navas still holds seniority in the dressing room and is favoured well by Mauricio Pochettino.
It was PSG President Al-Khelaifi who pushed for the move. The Parisian outfit are also pursuing a move for Gini Wijnaldum, looking to swoop him up right underneath the noses of Barcelona.
