Di Canio Continues Sunderland Revamp.


Changes at Sunderland continue as Paolo Di Canio looks set to let another of Sunderland’s players leave the club, Qatar side Al-Jaish have agreed a fee with Sunderland for Stephane Sessegnon for £5 million. 

The 29 year old attacking player has been seemed surplus to requirements by the Black Cats as Paolo Di Canio looks to completly revamp Sunderland. Sunderland have so far signed 10 players whilst allowing 9 players to leave the club, making Sessegnon the tenth player to leave. 

Stephane Sessegnon made 87 appearances for the Black Cats scoring 17 goals after signing from Paris Saint-Germain in 2011. 

Di Canio looks set to sign another left back with Toulouse defender Chiekh M’Bengue and Juventus’ Paolo de Ceglie on his watch list, alongside this a loan option for Swansea 24 year old midfielder Ki Sung Yeung is on the cards.
