Di Canio’s view on poor Chelsea start

Former Sunderland boss speaks out Chelsea’s poor start.

This season has been far from plain sailing for the Champions as poor for has seen the club fall down the league to 16th.

Paulo Di Canio has today aired his views on the Chelsea backline and has stated that captain, John Terry and Gary Cahill are “past it”.

He told Italian sports radio station Sports Radio 24: “Terry and Cahill are done as players.

“Ivanovic seems stunned.

“I can not remember a decline as rapid as that of Chelsea under Mourinho.”

The Champions will face Aston Villa on 17th October  after the international break where they will hope to restart their season as they try to defend the League.
