Didier Deschamps has claimed the ongoing tension between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho is all made up and is being represented in a more flashier way.
Reports of Mourinho’s on and off relationship with the French midfielder has been all over the news and also the pair appeared to have exchanged words in a training season.
The French midfielder had been linked with a number of clubs throughout the summer but stayed at the club despite concerns regarding his future. Pogba inspired a famous comeback win on Saturday as the Red Devils fought back to defeat Newcastle United 3-2.
France manager Deschamps believes the Mourinho is handling the player in the right way. “I think that it is exaggerated. Maybe you didn’t watch the last game because I saw a great Paul Pogba.
“I think that Jose Mourinho saw the same thing as me. Some things happened, and I think that like often, we make a big deal of maybe not so much.
“It’s true that there are some facts, and some may have jumped to certain conclusions.
“When I see how Paul behaves towards his current club situation some may say that he’s done everything he could mentally and when it comes to his individual performances to help the club.”
