Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba, could follow Steven Gerrard on his way to MLS as Portland Timbers reveal their interest in the veteran.
In a week that has seen Liverpool legend, Gerrard, reveal he is joining LA Galaxy in the Summer, another MLS club has announced their intentions to sign a Chelsea legend in Drogba.
The Ivorian striker is set to leave The Blues in the Summer once his deal expires, and officials from Portland have admitted that they are keen on signing the 36-year-old.
‘Drogba is a unique guy who, despite his age, is uniquely skilled to clean up in MLS,’ Paulson said.
‘The League almost signed him a couple years ago and I know my coach would love him to be a Timber, but I highly doubt it at this point.’
