Romas Miralem Pjanic is wanted at Anfield and the Reds seem ready to submit a £23.5million pound bid in order to get their man, who they see as a Steven Gerrard replacement.
Reports filtering through from Italy suggest a bid will be made in the next few days for the 24 year old, with a contract offering him £60,000 per-week.
Pjanic who is described as an ‘old fashioned playmaker’ is also wanted by Real Madrid but apparently has reservations about leaving Italy.
The Bosnian has been at Roma since 2011 and has scored 15 goals in 105 appearances for the club.
