Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has dropped a massive hint that he could be on his way to Premier League side Chelsea in the Summer.
The Brazilian-born striker, who has opted to play for Spain’s national team, has been linked with a mega-money move to Stamford Bridge all season due to Jose Mourinho complaining about his current strikers at the club, and despite revealing he is happy at Madrid, he has now admitted that a move could be in the pipeline.
Costa broke Chelsea’s hearts last night by scoring a penalty in their 3-1 victory in London which knocked the English side out of the Champions League, just one hurdle away from the final in Lisbon, but after the game, he gave them a reason to be cheerful by admitting a move could be on the cards.
‘Chelsea in my future? We’ll see,’ he said.
‘I feel well here at Atletico, but I know there are offers for me.’
