Winger signs three-year deal at Everton

Everton Football Club have announced that Kevin Miralles has signed a three-year extension at the club.

The Belgium had been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but he decided to follow in his team-mate’s footsteps and sign a new deal at Goodison Park.

The news comes just a day after midfielder James McCarthy extended his stay, and it’s just the news Roberto Martinez would have wanted ahead of the new season.

With all the speculation surrounding John Stones‘ future, Martinez will be delighted that two of his stars have committed their own futures to the club as they look to improve from their poor campaign last year.

Miralles‘ contract will now expire in 2018, and he’s revealed his delight at the new deal.

Miralles Delight

Speaking exclusively to evertontv after penning his deal, Mirallas said: “I’m very happy to sign. I’ve signed at Everton to win a trophy. I’m at a good team and I can continue my performances here.

“Now I am very happy because I can concentrate on my team and our future, starting with the Premier League tomorrow.”
