Borussia Dortmund are already planning life after Jurgen Klopp’s reign at the club.
The German club are reportedly ready to accept the fact that the manager will leave Germany for England and Manchester United in 2018, when his contract runs out.
Klopp has been linked with United’s managerial role in the past, but was quick to dismiss reports linking him with any kind of role away from Germany for a while.
But now, it is thought that Klopp could break his silence on where his future lies, with Dortmund preparing to hear that the manager has set his sights on becoming Louis Van Gaal’s successor at United.
The appointment of the manager at United would make sense, as Klopp has built his reputation on the kind of exciting, attacking football that Sir Alex Ferguson so loved to put on at Old Trafford, and the United fans will be hoping he can bring Marco Reus with along with him (presuming he hasn’t left already).
