Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, will reportedly sign a new five-year deal worth £200k-a-week.
The Belgium has been in talks with the club for several weeks now, and it’s believed that an announcement of the deal will be made shortly with the 23-year-old set to sign a five-year extension.
Hazard was strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge over the Summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid both keen on signing him, however, he stayed put in West London and is now ready to commit his future to the club.
The new five-year deal will see Hazard remain a Chelsea player until 2019, and means he will pocket a healthy £200k-a-week, making him the club’s highest earner.
After scoring nine goals already this season, Hazard is a crucial part of Jose Mourinho’s future, and that is underlined by the new contract being offered.
The club are expected to make an announcement over the Christmas period.
