Liverpool reportedly table £15.7million bid for Madrid midfielder
Liverpool have reportedly tabled a £15.7million for Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illaramendi.
The Spaniard joined Madrid in 2013 from Real Sociedad after his buyout clause was activated, however he has struggled to establish himself and cement himself a real starting place in the team.
A move to England on it’s way
According to Marca, Liverpool are willing to give the 25-year-old the chance to resurrect his career at Anfield, and have a lodged a £15.7m bid for his services.
Both Madrid and the player are understood to be keen on the move, which could see a deal be struck sooner rather than later.
