Liverpool and Arsenal are both interested on Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Croatian Brozovic only signed for Inter on a permanent basis this summer, having spent the last 18 months on loan at the Nerazzuri from Dinamo Zagreb.
Inter, amongst other clubs including some from England, are keen on Axel Witsel, but need to raise funds to put together a bid, claim La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Atletico Madrid are also keen on Brozovic, who has made 47 Serie A appearances.
Arsenal have made just one summer signing, Granit Xhaka arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Xhaka plays in a similar role in the middle of the park to Brozovic, and this might let in Liverpool.
The Reds have been more active in the transfer market, bringing in Sadio Mane, Loris Karius and Josip Matic.
Brozovic is reportedly on the market for £21m. He has 19 caps for the Croatian national team, including appearances at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.
