Birmingham City are set to sign Ivory Coast midfielder Jeremie Boga from Chelsea.
French-born Boga is set to join City on loan for the season and will become Harry Redknapp’s eighth signing of the summer and fourth loan recruit in the space of a week.
Redknapp signed Arsenal duo Cohen Bramall and Carl Jenkinson on loan just last Monday before Southampton striker Sam Gallagher signed a deal as well.
The attacking midfielder started Chelsea’s first game of the season against Burnley and starred on their pre-season tour, particularly during the Blues’ 3-0 win over rivals Arsenal.
He is due for a medical at Blues today ahead of completing his switch to St Andrew’s.
