Chris Smalling joins Italian side AS Roma on a three-year deal.
The 30-year old defender has signed a three-year contract with Roma with the option of an additional year.
Smalling impressed during his loan spell with Roma last season and finally rejoined Giallorossi in a deal worth €15m plus €5m in add-ons.
“Nothing in life worth having comes easy,” Smalling said.
“My head and my heart has always been in Rome. I am delighted to now be yours. Daje Roma!”

“I would like to thank Manchester United for the consideration they have shown throughout this strenuous and lengthy negotiation.”

During his 10-year stint with the Red Devils, Smalling won two Premier League titles, the Europa League, an FA Cup and League Cup.
