Falcao will leave Monaco for the second time in his career.

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao could be set for a new chapter in his career with Galatasaray.

The Colombian striker is the subject of interest from several clubs yet the Turkish side have emerged as a surprise candidate for his capture. According to television network TRT, Falcao will be at the club soon for his medical exams.

On social media, a photo is circulating of the Colombian soccer star with Galatasaray Vice-President Abdurrahim Albayrak. It is reported that the photo was taken last week when the Turkish football executive closed the deal with AS Monaco, where Falcao played last season.

According to newspaper El Espectador, the Monaco side agreed to transfer one of Colombia’s top players to Turkey’s champion for €3 million. Falcao himself will be earning €5 million a year plus bonuses of €2 million, the newspaper reported.

“It is not right for me to talk right now, because Falcao is a player with an ongoing contract. We are working on a transfer. We hope the issue is sound and clear soon,” his agent Ahmet Bulut, who is associated with Jorge Mendes in the Portuguese’s company Gestifute, revealed earlier.

Monaco brought former Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder after paying the France international’s €40 million release clause and he will likely act as a replacement for the Colombian at the Stade Louis II.
