Reports in Spain claim Real Madrid are considering selling James Rodriguez to Manchester United.
Colombian Rodriguez, 24, has struggled this season with the Galacticos, who today sacked Rafa Benitez as manager.
As well as falling out of favour with the Madrid hierarchy, Rodriguez was also hit with a speeding fine.
He was clocked at over 125mph, and could face a court offence.
This, coupled with the blackmail saga involving fellow forward Karim Benzema, could force Real into cleaning up their image.
Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with Real’s stars for some time now, mainly Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
But they may well decide to go for Rodriguez, as well as being linked with Sadio Mane of Southampton, and Felipe Anderson.
Rodriguez has struggled since being named in the 2014 World Cup All Star Team, and may fancy a change of scenery.
