Eden Hazard has said that he doesn’t want to regret any decision that he will take about his future.

The Chelsea talisman is considering his future ahead of signing a new contract at the west London club and has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea’s talismanic playmaker Eden Hazard has said that he does not want to regret any decision regarding his future. The Belgian skipper has been in contention to sign a new contract at the west London club but has also kept no secret of his desire to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid. This has put his contract situation at an interesting threshold and it is not to be seen whether the player stays at Stamford Bridge or leaves for Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard said, “The new (Chelsea) coach (Maurizio Sarri) thinks football like me, so we’ll see.” He added, “The family is in London, I’m also going to be 28. I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my career. It’s a decision I’m going to make, I do not know when, but I’ll take it. You know me, I’ve always loved Real, even before (Zinedine) Zidane. We’ll see what happens. As I said, I’m already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year.”

The player has been one of the mainstays in the current Chelsea side and has contributed heavily in their brilliant 2018/19 campaign in all competitions. The Blues will surely hope that the 27-year-old ace pens down a new deal and stays back at the Bridge.
