Inter Milan must sell in order to bring someone.
And the first player on that list is the Austria international.
Newcastle United are in advanced talks and have made a formal offer for Inter Milan winger Valentino Lazaro, on loan with an option to buy. According to Sky Italia, the Magpies sent over an official proposal and it has a very good chance of being successful.
After the arrival of Ashley Young and Victor Moses on his way from Chelsea, Lazaro could already be heading for the exit door this winter. The 23-year-old has not been able to establish himself under Antonio Conte and has played six times in Serie A since his €22.4 million move form Hertha Berlin last summer.

“It’s fairly common knowledge now. That his agent was at the St James’ Park during the weekend,” Newcastle coach Steve Bruce said at a press conference. “We hope that we can develop it. Unfortunately, when it gets out like it does it adds to the competition and we’ll see. We’ll see what the next 24 to 48 hours will bring.”
It’s reported Newcastle have made an offer to take Lazaro on a paid six-month loan with option to buy at the end of the season for a total €21 million. This money could then be reinvested in taking Christian Eriksen from Tottenham and Olivier Giroud with Victor Moses from Chelsea.
